Sansui B2101 powering Cerwin Vega DX-9 - 4 OHM Speakers demonstration. Both the amp and the speakers have been nicely packed in boxes for over 10 years and I was fortunate to purchase them in a package deal. Included with the package are the turntable used in the demo, and a Pioneer stereo system (100 watts per channel) all from the 80s. All are in exceptionally beautiful and perfectly functioning condition. Also included with the package are the pair of Bose 4.2 Series II speakers that are in the original box that were not included in the demo since the Sansui amp was set to the 4 ohm setting and the Cerwin Vega speakers are 4 ohm. Did some research on the amp and could only find the service manual unless I wanted to pay 25 Euros for the owner’s manual from Germany. The only real question I have about the amp is the ohm settings for the speakers, A, B, and A & B which I assume means A or B and A and B thus I assumed if running 4 ohm speakers you can only hook up one pair on either A or B? Not sure if I will sell the Sansui and Cerwin Vegas as of yet, but leaning that way since I do not have a good preamp for the Sansui and have only 8 ohm speakers that I use with my current systems. The Spec 2 I currently use can be set to 4 ohms, but I use B speakers (4 speakers) and all the other speakers I have are 8 ohm.
