The Amptone Lab XY MIDIpad MIDI touch screen controller, which is most often fitted to a guitar or bass and is used to control an external Kaoss pad, but can also be used to control a myriad of other units including VST's and the equally awesome Digitech digital whammy. We are often asked what is needed to make the xyMIDIpad work and how to hook the guitar and MIDIpad together with a Kaoss pad. This short video walks you through that process. From how to get your guitar sounds to the Kaoss pad to getting them out again, with some information on the basic controls available on the Kaoss pad itself. The guitar being used is a new Crimson 45rpm FX with three built-in effects pedals on top of the MIDI controller, wireless MIDI output, and the standard magnetic pickups.
