John Hanke is the founder and CEO of Niantic, Inc., which has released world-renowned AR mobile experiences like Pokémon GO. John originally founded Niantic as a startup within Google to explore the creation of new kinds of entertainment at the intersection of digital and physical worlds leveraging location, social, and emerging mobile technology. He was also a co-founder of Keyhole, which developed technology that would later become Google Earth. In a fireside chat, John will talk about his experience developing strong organizational cultures, promoting creativity and exploration in the workplace, and entrepreneurship. Questions will be drawn from John’s extensive experience at the intersection of business, technology, exploration, and social interaction. Following the discussion, there will be time for audience Q&A.
