The carbon brushes in my Siemens S10-42, model number WM10S420GR/11 washing machine have worn out. This machine has an interesting way of dealing with errors. You must clean the error by turning the program knob to 6 o'clock (Spin programme), and then press the spin speed button and turn the knob to the left by 1 programme. Then turn the knob to OFF and set a program again. Well, since there was a motor error/worn out carbon brushes, the motor could not work. When a component in the washing machine/Waschmaschine is not working, the digital timer will reduce the time and do other things to try to repair itself (this is for the Spin programme, idk for other programmes, original duration is 13min but it reduced to 5min).
