A huge thank you to @MythicalKitchen for introducing these chips. There were three flavors of chips released and we got all three incredibly illegality flavored chips. Today on the Snack Network Dave and Curtis are trying Casu Marzu, or Maggot Cheese flavored chips. This cheese is illegal in every single country, even the country it originates from! This chips get their unique flavor from a sheep cheese and is introduced to Piophila casei eggs which hatch and the larvae ingest the cheese and break down the cheese to the point of technical decomposition. These chips do not actually contain any actual Casu Marzu, but have been flavored with natural and artificial flavors to simulate Casu Marzu. The chips are completely vegetarian and kosher friendly.
