Authentic Kerala Dishes with my personal Touch 😍 നല്ല എരിവും പുളിയും ഉള്ള നല്ല അസ്സൽ മീൻ മുളകിട്ടത് .. കുടമ്പുളി കിട്ടാതെ വിഷമിക്കുന്നവർ ഈ കറി ഒന്ന് ഉണ്ടാക്കി നോക്കാൻ മറക്കല്ലേ .. Ingredients Fish -1/2 kg Tomato-2 medium Onion-1/2 Small onion-5 Chilli Powder-1/2 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder-1/2tbsp Turmeric powder-1/4tsp Coriander powder-1/2tsp Salt- to taste Tamarind -lemon size Curry leaves -3 strings Ginger-1 small piece Garlic- 3 Fenugreek seeds-1/4tsp Mustard seeds-1/2tsp Green chilli-5 (slits) Coconut Oil-2tbsp Water-2 cup Clean and wash fish with salt and lemon … Here I used King fish(Ney meen)to make this mulakittahu ..U can use any kind of fish .. Soak tamarind in 1 /2cup of hot water and keep aside for few minutes ..Then squeeze and strain .. Heat oil  in a kadai or manchatti (Clay pot) and splutter mustard seeds followed by fenugreek seeds .. Then to this add onion slices and green chilli,curry leaves , ginger and garlic . Sauté until the raw smell goes .. Mix all powders together by adding little water .. Add these paste and saute till the raw smell goes .. Then add tomato pieces and cook until  soft .. Now its time for adding tamarind water and salt  and cook for 5 minutes in low flame and add rest of the water (hot) to this and mix well.. Cook for another 5 minutes .. Then add fish pieces and close the kadai and cook for 10 minutes in medium flame  . Then open the lid and allow to cook till the gravy becomes semi medium thick … Check the salt .. Finally sprinkle 1 tsp of coconut oil and curry leaves and close the kadai .. Its best to make fish curry one day b4 serving .. 🙂 So hope all of u like this meen mulakittathu and will try ..    • Fish/Seafood
