Twenty per cent of concussion patients continue to experience symptoms after three months. Dr. Heather MacKenzie is developing a tool that will accurately predict, from the onset of injury, who is at risk of these long-term symptoms - a ‘crystal ball’ that will help guide their care. Dr. MacKenzie is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Schulich School Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.
