Asit Dey at Bengal Classical Music Festival 2013, Dhaka, Bangladesh

#bengalclassicalmusicfestival Asit Dey, born in a family of musicians learnt the first lesson on Classical Muisc from his illustrious father and Guru Pandit Mithun Dey, a renowned classical musician of Bangladesh. His iniciation into the music started from his home where music was the most important part of life. In the year 1987 he got Indian government scholarship, and started Learning under the guidance of Shrimoti Shanti Sharma,at Shree Ram Bharatiya Kala Kendra, New Delhi and after one year he started his talim from Ustad Amir Khan’s disciple Pandit Amaranth. He was an All India Radio artist and started performing in India as well as abroad from 1990 until he came back to Bangladesh in 2004.
