You definitely have to buy a case for this. The camera bump is molded at the back giving it a more uniform look, it look the same as last year with significant difference, the rings on the module. Last year's A52 and A72 has a metalic finish to it, while A53 is just black. I like it more because it looks like a more expensive than it is, those metalic accent makes the camera looks cheap. There's no headphone jack on this phone which a total bummer to me. I thought that the A series is somehow a midrange phonep that offers more features. Like headphone jack and SD card but they killed the headphone jack this year. Honestly, I dont like it. It has a bigger 5000mAh and rhis should last longer than the previous model. We will do a battery test of this phone and that is next. From Snapdragon it also usws Samsung's own Exynos 1280, a 5 nanometer chipset so we will will also do a speed test. In terms of screen, the panel is super bright and vibrant, I actually compared it with Samsung S20 Ultra and the 800 nits of this phone is super bright. S20 Ultra has 1400 nits but it looks almost the same. The only difference is it uses a flat panel but the bezels are pretty minimal, it looks like a flagship phone just by looking at the screen. Camera Tour: In terms of image quality of the three useable sensors, the main will give you better dynamic gange and contrast while the ultrawide lens is brighter of the three. The 2x crop is only digital so you look some details on it. The colors from the main sensor is punchy, it has great colors but like a samsung phone, sometimes unrealistic but looks really good. The macro sensor has enough details for a 5 megapixel and certainly useable if you love to take close focus shots. The ultrawide is great and I noticed it produces brighter photos compared to the main sensor. Night shot is okay but I've seen better still pretty good for $449. The front camera orcselfie oddly has wide and ultra although it only has a single 32 megapixel swnsorq.. I think its uses a crop to zoom in and out of photos. So what is gadgetrevnows verdict on the new Samsung Galaxy A53. Lets start with the dissapointments. iIt doenst have a charger, I think for the A series Samsung should have kept a complete package knowing that people with limites budget will buy this, it should be all in one. I also hate that they remove the headphone jack, this is thw only reason why people buy this mediocre lineup. It also uses the cameras from last year, so expect the same camera performance but lets see if Samsung tweaked it on the software side, I highly doubt it. And lets talk about the highlights, the battery is bigger so our battery test might be really dope.
