Hey, Everyone… Matt here with another Daily Shave. Today I started out by loading my beautiful MERshaving Silvertip Badger Brush for about 60 seconds with Barbershop soap Stirling Soaps. This soap is on of the most powdery Barbershop scents out there! It's about a 6/10 scent strength in the tub and about an 8 or 9/10 on the face. You'll see me build my Lather on the face gradually by adding a little water at a time. Don't be afraid to keep adding water until you get a nice, yogurty sheen. That's when you know the lather is perfect. To take advantage of this amazing Lather, I used the new 3ONE6 razor by Edwin Jagger. This three piece razor is stainless steel and it looks as sleek and amazing as you'd expect. The razor was a bit on the mild side, but I did no mind that at all as I adjusted for that by simply making my angle of attack a little steeper. This razor is surprisingly light. A few things to keep in mind are that the bottom of the handle isn't flat so it won't stand upright, and the top cap finish does not match the rest of the razor. To finish odd the shave, I used Stirling Beard Oil which I treated as an aftershave in this case. I then used Abraham's beard tamer (which is also Barbershop scented) and added some more oil to it to lock in the scent - this helps keep my beard aligned, sleek, and smelling great.
