How to ride your bicycle at the beach (Oak Island, NC) or, more importantly, how to keep your bicycle rust free while at the beach! While I was on vacation last week I thought it would be a good time to get some footage of one of my favorite things to do, ride my Giant TCX on the beach's of Oak Island. A lot of people steer clear of riding their "nicer" bicycle on the beach for fear of rust or destroying your equipment from all of the sand. I won't say that I am an expert on the subject but I can at least tell you what has kept my bicycle running strong through the years of beach riding.
