So you can become a member on my YouTube channel now (there’s a pun here somewhere…) Being a member means you get 30 exclusive videos, all the artwork, all my scripts, a live stream every weekend, exclusive emojis and some other stuff I probably forgot, but… it’s totally worth it. Trust me bro. Link is here: / @briefed_mythology Let’s talk about these dudes trying to steal the Golden Fleece: Jason and The Argonauts. How does a team up of Herakles (aka Hercules), Theseus and the super powered witch-sorceress Medea sound? Greek Mythology legit assembled heroes way before the Avengers made it cool:A bunch of super-powered dudes get together so that one of them can reclaim the throne that is rightfully his, but was stolen from his father.Legitimately, the Argonauts influence storytelling to this day, and though the epic of the Argonauts is overshadowed by the Trojan War and the Odyssey, their adventure is just as important. I had to do a 1 hour video just to fit in everything, and I still had to cut out a lot of stuff, so make sure you read the notes below, but for now… let’s do another episode of epic Greek Mythology: Episode 4 Of KUWTGG Season 2: The Age Of Heroes — The Argonauts Notes:So I didn’t go in detail on all the heroes that are part of the Argonauts, and that’s because… there are way too many. General there is a core crew that appears in every single rendition of the tale, but after that… think of it like this: How many different versions of the Avengers, X-Men or any superhero team up have we had? With every writer, the Argonauts change, so… I know I said I would list them all in my video, but… that list is endless… I was going to but then was like “daaaaaamn”, so… I changed my mind. Sorry y’all. I also left out the Argonauts entire run in with Circe, simply because… Circe will get a major portion of my upcoming video on the Odyssey and Odysseus. Also, the chase between the king of Colchis and the Argonauts actually drags on for a bit longer, and the Argonauts actually visit a court that absolves them of any sin, stating that they won the Golden Fleece fair and square, but that Medea deserves to be punished for the murder of her brother. Ultimately though, this only drags on and doesn’t affect the story at all, so I just cut it out. In fact, my notes on this would be endless, because this tale has so many versions… it’s ridiculous. I am confident however that I did bring you the best and most streamlined version of the story, so I hope you do enjoy. Get All My Artwork & Support The Channel: / briefed I get a lot of questions about my artwork and where it’s from or rather who draws it. Well the answer is that I create it — I don’t draw it. I use AI to create the artwork, using specific prompts, specific style influences from 18th and 19th century artists, and I spend about 10 hours per video just on the artwork. Each video has roughly double the artwork of what you actually see in the video, so a lot of it is unused. The good news about that is that you can get all that artwork on my Patreon: The artwork I do use, and the artwork I don’t use. Plus, by subscribing to my Patreon you are making a major contribution to Briefed and helping me to keep this channel going, because this is my full time job and the survival of the channel and quality of the videos greatly depends on said support. In return for supporting, you get more than the artwork though — you also get access to exclusive videos and you can download every video you see on here to download and keep. If you choose to become a Patron — thank you. I do not take it for granted. Footage: The first footage of the video is from 300, then I move on to Avengers Endgame, One Piece, X Men First Class, and Justice League Snyder Cut as well as Blood of Zeus. The ‘I slap for fun’ scene is from Money Talks with Chris Tucker and Charlie Sheen, and the battle analysis scene is from Captain America Civil War.
