IN THE GARDEN I am picking my favorite yellow cherry tomato which is called Esterina For the flower arrangements I picked scarlet amaranth, Annabell hydrangeas, wild golden rod and Jupiter Sunflowers IN THE KITCHEN To make blackberry vinegar, cover blackberries with apple cider vinegar in a clean jar and let set for 2 weeks. 🌻GWEN;S FAVORITE THINGS🌻 Blackwing Pencils https://amzn.to/3O6jNwI Bariani Olive Oil https://amzn.to/3tTlp67 Mackenzie Childs Creamer https://amzn.to/47F8dQ5 Rada Paring Knife https://amzn.to/48XR19r Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Plates https://amzn.to/420xIKs Blackberry Vinaigrette 1/4 cup minced shallots 1 tablespoon chopped chives 2 tablespoon honey 1/4 cup blackberry vinegar 1/2 cup walnut oil 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon black pepper Gwen's Frizzled Sage Goat Cheese 4 oz log plain goat cheese 1 egg 1/2 cup rough chopped sage leaves 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/2 teas pepper and salt oil fir frying Slice goat cheese into 6 slices. Crack egg into shallow bowl and beat with a fork until well mixed In another shallow bowl mix sage, panko crumbs, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Dip goat cheese into egg and then into crumb mixture, pressing in lightly. Transfer to a tray until ready for frying Fry in a hot pan of oil for 2 -3 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Place on a tray lined with parchment paper and keep warm in a 200 degree oven until serving time. I served these Sage Sizzled Goat Cheeses on a bed of fresh garden lettuces, roasted red beets, summer tomatoes, and blackberries. I adorned my salad with nasturtiums and violas.
