A 1979 Crosman American Classic Crosman 1377 Pneumatic Pistol

In this video we look at the American Classic Crosman 1377 .177 pneumatic pump action air pistol, which was manufactured in January 1979. I have upgraded the valve internals and made a custom pistol grip and stock. The pistol is now shooting at around 4 foot pounds at 14 pumps. Not too bad for a 45 year old air pistol. These first generation air pistols had cocking knobs at the rear, and a sliding breach, unlike the later ones which are of a bolt action design. Apart from that, the pistols are the same. The gun is also very customisable. You can buy different stocks, barrels and breaches. You can even buy custom rear stocks to create a carbine for small vermin hunting, or more accurate shooting.
