Let's go bike touring in Taiwan! Provincial Highway 26 (or Cycling Route 26) is said to be the most beautiful road in Taiwan. From Eluanbi, I cycled along coastal Route 26, turned into Route 200 in the mountains, then back again onto coastal Route 26 to reach Xuhai, a remote village nestled in the back mountains of southern Taiwan. (Skip to 12:30 for the stunning coastal views along Route 26 if you can't wait to see how beautiful it is!)
