Rare 10" Vogue Picture Record R715 R-715 P17 P18 (1946), in excellent condition

Vogue picture records have been produced by Sav-Way Industries of Detroit, Michigan, for only 11 months beginning in May 1946. They are very collectible mainly for their illustrations printed on both sides of the record. They were the brainchild of inventor and entrepreneur Tom Saffady. Vogue records feature dance bands of the time, with bandleaders Clyde McCoy, Art Kassel, Art Mooney, Shep Fields, Frankie Masters, Sonny Dunham, and others. Today's collectors have the choice between 74 double-sided 10" 78 rpm records, of which the first one R707 with "Sugar Blues" and "Basin Street Blues" is also the most common one. At any given time there are about forty of them for sale on eBay, with prices between 5 and 50 dollars. The vinyl price guide Popsike has listed sales records, where my record R715 ranks highest from three eBay auctions: $10003 with 44 bids, $7211 with 34 bids, and $6490 with 7 bids. The supposedly "rarest" Vogue disc R784 ranks 4th with $4208. The Valueyourmusic price guide lists R715 as number 13 of "The 100 most valuable 78 rpm Records of All Time". If price is a measure of rarity, R715 is the rarest of all Vogue picture records. The main reason a record is rare, is its production volume. The reason R715 is such a limited edition, can only be speculated. Vogue had a lot of problems which caused some bandleaders to leave before October 1946; Shep Fields, the artist of my record, was one of them. Listen to both sides of this record, played on a cheapo but light-weight Crosley Cruiser record player. The record is for sale on my website (ref.1), where you also find all the references. Make me an offer. ref.1: https://www.radio-antiks.com/IndexRad...
