Ford Mondeo Mk4 - Rear Coil spring replacement, time to replace the rear coil springs on the Mondeo Mk4 as I was advised they may need doing soon. Well what a job this turned into, straight forward to replace the rear coil springs, how ever little did i know about the different variants there was. It was only after installing the replacement ones that i realised that something was not right, so I shared a photo in a Mondeo Mk4 group and was told by plenty of helpful people that there the wrong ones. I was advised that they maybe the correct springs for the mondeo mk4 how ever that there are loads of different variants to buy. The way to tell what ones you have or need are by a little bit of coloured paint on the spring some where, and sometimes that paint might not even be there due to rust and general wear on the springs. So it is an easy thing to mistake and hear I share the issue i had so you can all be aware of this matter.
