1. Damage intake from melee hits are significantly different per class (My ilvl 573 shadow priest takes under HALF the damage per melee hit than an ilvl 611 shaman...) 2. Why does she crit? 3. Spellqueueing disasterclass 4. Anglers Web shoots through random portals... 5. Why is there so much crap in the roof that impedes the camera? First of all, Zekvirs melee hits shamans around ilvl 611 for 1.6-2m standard, they are 2 seconds apart and kill me in 3 hits without a heal (or 2 if one crits) - this alone resulted in about half of all failed attempts. My problem with this, is that my ilvl 573 priest only gets hit for 700-800k on ?? difficulty, and has so much passive healing, that you never once need to think about survivability, defensive CD's, spending GCD's or dps-resource (maelstrom/insanity) on self healing... on a priest that is probably 50ilvl under what the content is targeted for... P1 in my opinion is the hardest phase because it goes absolutely wild in its melee attacks; P2 is easier in this regard because it gets locked in casting spells for longer periods of time. However, in P2 Brann dies, so you need to start self healing more, and you're more prone to insane spellqueueing & far away hatchling & Claw nightmare combos. Regarding spellqueueing (and how it makes Claw incredible deadly) - you want to keep Zekvir close to you when you bring it to Hatchling things, to reduce the size of the Claw cone to run out of (but not too close so that the fear circle is right on top of it). However there are times that the Hatchling spawns extremely far away from you, then because of spellqueueing, while you're trying to bait Claw, or bring Zekvir with you, it's casting like 3-5 spells THEN claw, which is either guaranteed death, or the spider will spawn. You can see what I mean in this video from #2:24 to #2:37 - If the egg and Zekvir were any further apart, it would have been certain death. Also not that Angler's Web travels through random portals, so my strategy was to just run outside the 'circle' of the portals so I wouldn't intersect a path between any - this can be seen in basically all of the P2 Angler's Web, but specifically at #5:37, it shoots right across the front of my camera. --- This was the first attempt I moved heroism/bloodlust into the 2nd phase (should have probably delayed until Ascendance was off CD), but really I think P1 is the hardest phase for enhancement shaman (because of the melee attacks issue noted above), so it might still be worth using it there. Overall, kind of fun, but most deaths are frustrating because they feel unjustified. Not as good as any of the mage towers scenario's, since you really don't need a plan for it, and knowledge of the fight mechanics on their own don't benefit you anywhere near as much as as with mage tower. Next up, I'm inclined to try kill this on an ilvl 573 spriest to prove it's possible, and that the majority of the difficulty for most classes is exclusively that Zekvir wrecks some classes more than others.
