3x Red Special & Pickup Comparison video ** POST UPDATE ** I have just realised I wired the bridge pickup the wrong way round, which was the reason for the Kz Super sounding too bright, I have put the wires the correct way round now and it's sounding better than ever, the next gig I do, I'll re-record it and post up again. ---------------------------- I recently changed the pickups in my KZ Super from the Adeson’s Super Spec to Yonderbosk. The only unfortunate thing for me personally is that it’s made the overall sound very bright, maybe a bit too bright for my liking. I know this could be down to pickup heights as I never measure pickup heights, I install them, tell myself it looks like it did before and leave it at that 😂 I will take out the KAT Superpot and re-install the normal CTS Volume pot to see if that makes a difference to the overall sound through my rig.
