Hi everyone, Welcome back to the channel. I finally built my first custom rod. I have been looking for a new fishing rod to pair up with my new Daiwa Luvias LT and noticed the prices were pretty high. A lot of of Ultra Light rods from Japan were in the $200-$350 range. I really like the build and style of JDM rods but did not want to spend the money for it. I chose to build my first custom rod for the same price (without the rod build kit) and have it built to my liking. I hope you all enjoy this rod build. I will probably build a few more for personal use and maybe for sale.
