In today's video we show you our unforgettable summer visit in Gdansk with an old town and beach visit. Gdańsk Poland is a treat for the eyes! We have home based in Krakow for 57 days as we explore Poland searching for the best places to live as a foreigner, or expat. Today we give our first impressions of Gdansk Poland and share a bit of its history. Gdansk is sometimes referred to Danzig, which is okay in a historical sense, but when speaking of the present, this city is called Gdansk. As we explore Poland we'll share our costs, expenses, and impressions of Poland's livability and quality of life. Krakow, Gdansk, Warsaw, and many other cities in Poland have many foreigners calling the country home. Poland offers a reasonable cost of living and great quality of life. The average US Retiree on Social Security receives $1,550 a month, and a couple on Social Security receives over $2,500 a month. A US Expat living on Social Security if allowed could expect a lower cost of living in Poland when compared to the living costs in the US.
