We just got back from a family trip to Dauphin Island for some birdwatching during fall migration—Our daughter MaryCarl spotted 14 new species on this wonderful family trip. Now, it's time to get back to work on the farm. We're planning the new garden beds, that will border the fence we just had installed, and I have been thinking about creative ways to manage those pesky weeds, while building up the terrible soil in the backyard garden. Also I want to build a garden border for the future Alabama potager garden, & I’d love to hear your suggestions for it all. Later, we head out to a local farmstand to grab some pumpkins and corn stalks to decorate the buggy for fall. 🍂 Holly and the crew help us get everything just right. Wait until you see how it all turns out—perfect for the season! Plus, we’ve got exciting news! Nugget’s emu eggs are ready for the incubator, and Catherine over at ‪@ggfarms9136‬ is taking care of them.
