This is an introductory video that describes the installation and operation of the Accu-Facet system for producing multi-sided cylinders and multi-faceted shapes on the band saw. A detailed description of the Accu-Facet components are described as well as a detailed description of the auto-indexing pins. The Accu-Facet is designed to attach to the Accu-Sled on the Accu-Slice index table to enable the cutting of facets on wood blocks to make some unique faceted shapes that can be used as lids for bowls, vases or urns, bases for other projects or it can be used to develop other unique projects such as multi-faceted desk clocks or multi-faceted spheres. In this video I will describe the various components of the Accu-Facet System, how the wood block is attached to the pattern disc, and how the Accu-Facet system operates for producing multi-faceted projects. Subsequent videos will describe the sanding of the facets on the disc sander and projects that have been completed with the Accu-Facet System.
