Satish Prasad Singh had attempted to make a Hindi movie named 'Jogi Aur Jawani' but never complete this project. In 1980 general election, he won Khagaria Lok-sabha seat on Congress (I) symbol and that was his last political success. Later, his daughter Suchitra Sinha & son-in-law Nagmani got into politics and were appointed as ministers in state and central government.
