‘New strategy’: How Israel could take down Iran and its proxies

Former IDF spokesperson Jonathan Conricus predicts what new strategy Israel could be implementing in its plan to defeat Iran and its proxies. Israeli Defence Forces have confirmed it carried out "precise strikes" on military targets in Iran. In a statement, the IDF said the operation was completed after three rounds of strikes. “I believe, and this is my point of view and not yet the official Israeli point of view, is that as long as the Iranian regime controls Iran, Israel isn't safe,” Mr Conricus told Sky News Australia. “We can defeat one Iranian proxy and then another one. We are defeating Hamas, going to defeat Hezbollah to … a lesser extent but until the Iranian regime stops sending them money and weapons, we will not be blessed with quiet and peace. “Therefore, I think that the overarching strategy is to engage with the regime in order to force it to stop.”
