BEGINNERS YOGA TUTORIAL - YIN YOGA - SWEAT SUMMER SERIES Week 4

It’s the LAST week of the SWEAT Summer Series!! This is the final Yin yoga flow, which is a more calming, soothing, slow and restorative-style yoga. In Yin yoga, postures are held for longer. They can help to calm both the mind and nervous system while enabling you to turn your attention inwards and truly focus on the breath. Personally, I find Yin yoga equally beneficial for the body, mind and soul. For the body, holding postures for longer periods of time can help to strengthen the muscles used, as well as deepening flexibility and range of motion.
