5 Min Easy Icom 7300 Firmware Update Procedure

After a lot of practice, this is how I update my firmware in the Icom IC-7300. It's a simple 5 minute procedure. I have a longer video out on how to update the firmware and you can see it here:    • Icom 7300 Firmware Update How To   1. Format SD card if necessary. I do a format anyway just to be safe. 2. Save your settings to the SD card. 3. Copy the new firmware from your PC or Mac to the SD card IC-7300 folder! 4. Update firmware. 5. Reload your settings. See sections 8 and 15 in the Icom 7300 full manual. I'm an Amateur Radio enthusiast. I love the hobby and experimenting with radios, antennas and software. I have a lot of fun.
