The Thule Pulse has been a good decision. The Pulse (Large) sits perfectly on top of the 2019 RAV4. The XL would have been too long but the Large is perfect for a smaller SUV. It also has flexibility in how it's mounted - the clamps slide up and down so you aren't locked into just 1 size which I saw was an issue for other boxes.
