Regarding the container we addressed a variety products, wood, glass and aluminum but decided stainless steel would best suit our needs. Our CVault is airtight, light weight, durable and impenetrable to light; it is the ultimate storage container The testing of the humidity was extensive; we worked with Boveda/Humidipak, a company that has developed a patented technology that provides the world's first, 2-way humidity control packet. Boveda/Humidipak worked closely with us during FreshStor's ® testing phase, providing us with a variety of Boveda/Humidipaks ® samples ranging from 48% to 72% After months of testing, we concluded that; the most effective humidity range for storing product is between 58% and 64%. FreshStor ® has engaged Boveda/Humidipak ® to develop a 62% Boveda/Humidipak. Each Boveda/Humidipak ® packet has a plus or minus 1% humidity variance. We have found that the 62% relative humidity packet is applicable to 90% of the products you would store. Test after test, month after month, and a year later, We are now excited to present to our current and future friends, the combination of our durable container with patented humidity controlled storage technology the CVault.
