These campgrounds are: Mammoth (Opening date TBD), Norris (CLOSED 2023), Pebble Creek (CLOSED 2023), Slough Creek (Opening date TBD) and Tower Fall (Opening date TBD). Check back for updates. Camping in Yellowstone is a dream of many but if you aren't prepared and know how to procure your campsite, your dream will probably not be realized. Yellowstone National Park operates 12 campground and 293 backcountry campsites. This video is all about the 12 campgrounds. Another video will focus on the backcountry campsites. Don't forget, there are other campgrounds outside of the park with easy access, so if you're unable to reserve a campground IN Yellowstone, you might be able to get one on the edge of the park.
