Day 1 of our trip takes us down to the Palm Springs airport where weather is sitting just west of the field. We navigate past thunderclouds produced by a forest fire for a RNP to runway 13R. Fortunately, weather sitting to the West of the field was mostly stationary and we were able to depart and head North to Seattle with minimal deviations.
