Winter Camping in Sub-Zero temperatures (-26C) can be dangerous but if done properly you can enjoy yourself just the same. On this solo camping adventure I hiked back into the forest to the bushcraft camp. I had to cut a lot of firewood to get through the cold night ahead. Before dark I cook up a beef stew over the campfire and enjoy a cold beer before going to bed. In the morning I found my water, bacon and eggs were all frozen because of the extremely cold temperatures. I managed to save the bacon and melt the water for coffee.
