Please join me as we venture back in time to the heart of the mystically festive Yuletide Village in Harveysburg, Ohio’s recreated sixteenth century! This wonderfully fun annual medieval event takes place every Friday and Saturday through December 16th at the Renaissance Park in Warren County Ohio. Who’s afraid of Krampus!? Some say the legend of Krampus is Europe’s evil twist on Santa. Steeped in historic folklore, Krampus was said to have traveled with Saint Nicholaus (or Santa Claus or Father Christmas) to real havoc on children who made the naughty list! This year, he’s back at YULETIDE Village! This quaint village usually hosts the Renaissance Festival, as well as the Celtic Festival but tonight, it has been transformed for the yuletide season complete with Christmas lights, the Queen and her Court, music, food, drink, holiday shopping market, Woodland Santa Claus and KRAMPUS!
