In Part 2 of my Kyoto travel vlog, join me and my mom as we embark on a unique journey from Kyoto Station to Nara aboard a stunning sightseeing express train. This train is a must-experience, featuring grand interiors and comfortable seats designed for tourists to enjoy the lush green landscapes along the way. Once we arrive in Nara, we're welcomed by the adorable bowing deers that roam freely around the city. With chilly and rainy weather, we warm up with hot chocolate at Starbucks before exploring more of Japan's intriguing cultural quirks—like no 'ground' floor buttons in elevators and their high-tech washroom systems! We then make our way to Nakatanidou, the famous matcha mochi shop, where we enjoy this delicious treat despite missing the live mochi-pounding show.
