It's a great time to get into warbirds in DCS! Especially with future growth and expansion into the Pacific Theater. Warbirds are challenging to fly, but very rewarding when you get the hang of it. EDIT: Couple of goofs I made and didn't catch. The Fw-190 D9 is equipped with a Junkers Jumo 213 inverted V-12, not the Daimler Benz 605 that one would find in the Bf-109. Also, I meant to say 8 kilometers, and not 8,000 kilometers for the critical altitude of the Bf-109's supercharger. Easy mistake to make when you are used to feet and not the metric system. If anyone could get a Bf-109 to climb to 8,000 kilometers, I would be very impressed!
