This is one of the best budget hunting and target rifles that I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. Lets start out with the good things. 7mm-08 is a great flat shooting cartridge with reduced recoil and great terminal ballistics for both hunting and long range target shooting. The 22 inch barrel is good for tip top velocity and isn't a super lightweight barrel like cheaper models. The bolt has a 60 degree throw and a very smooth throw, lock, and unlock. Trigger tuned down to 2 pounds is exceptional and top notch. Then the Bad. Cheap synthetic stock flexes and warps under heat. Barrel has straight cut flutes at the end of the barrel losing some rigidity at the worst part of the barrel. 1.25-1.5 MOA is good but not what everyone would want. The setup. Nikon P-308 4-16X optic which has great glass and amazing turrets. Tourbon Rear cheek riser and storage. I have 2 Bear Creek (BCA) uppers, a Palmetto state (PSA) "big boy" upper and 2 custom uppers. I specialize in High value options for your everyday Joe & Jane in the recreational scene.
