Mix, video editing, design by Kalle Thyselius THANKS TO David Storm Staffan Berge Daniel Lindau Oscar Eriksson Hansson Sjöberg Anders Mattisson Örebro Musikhögskola BAND HISTORY With about 100 songs in a suitcase, Kalle came back to Stockholm from an seven year long journey having lived in, among other places, Malmo, London and New York. He had been playing love songs from fire cases for the kids on the streets of Manhattan, been forced by the mob to perform in a small dodgy pizzeria on Edgeware Rd. in London, and had a small success on a Berlin radio station. When You are restless and living less than a year in each place, it's not easy to get a band together. Kalle realized he needed to get back to his roots to be able to do something structured with his music. He started up his 10 year old band and invited a couple of new friends to join in, booked a few weeks in a small recording studio and they started rehearsing and recording Crashing Towards Daylight. He got a house on the country side outside Stockholm and built a studio there as well. They spent a big part of the summer 2009 in that house, recording and producing the album themselves.
