After a hearty breakfast, start on our trek from Wan Village, following a trail that meanders through terraced fields and local settlements. Encounter shepherds tending to their flocks, adding a touch of authenticity to your journey. The trail gradually ascends, offering glimpses of the surrounding peaks as you gain altitude. Before commencing the main ascent, visit the Latu Devta Temple, a revered local shrine dedicated to the protector of the village. Seek blessings for a safe journey and learn about the local folklore surrounding the deity. Further moving our trek to Ranka Dhar, a place steeped in mythology, believed to be the site of a battle between Goddess Parvati and the demon Lohasur. Descend to the Neel Ganga River, a refreshing oasis amidst the trek. Cross the river and continue through oak and rhododendron forests, immersing ourself in the tranquillity of nature.
