The monsoonal flow has been keeping the dirt in perfect shape and the wildflowers are head- high currently. This ride starts at about 10'700ft and climbs well above 12'000ft, into the alpine. This was "first run" for Chris, considering how tall the flowers were getting, I call this a win. This lap can be accessed off of Coal Bank Pass as well as from Molas Pass, depending on how much alpine you want to access. We rode this as a loop from the bottom of Engineer Mountain Trail and just made it out of the woods as the mid-day showers were moving in. Best of times with Chris Boice. #followcamfriday flower smashing goodness. This was ridden on my Yeti SB130lr with a 160mm RockShox Zeb. Perfect all-day high-country weapon.
