With Renee's health slowly getting back to normal we continue on!Our first destination is Newfoundlands largest offshore island. Fogo Island but first we have to get there. We hit the ferry early to be only one of a few on board. We have one stop on the way over at Change Island. Our first stop one in port is the small town of Fogo. Where we have a amazing Fish and Chips lunch before doing some sight seeing. Our first sight is something you would never expect to see in such a remote place. The Fogo Island Inn. A four star hotel so architecturally unique it is almost you want to spend your life saving to live at (you pretty much would). After we head to the town of Tilting just to be a silted by Stouts (horseflies) that ruined that first chosen camp spot. We return to Fogo to land at the Brimstone Head Park at the base of what the Flat Earthers call one of the Four Corners Of The Flat Earth (coo-coo). The following day we reverse our ferry path to head down to Cape Freels. A perfect beach that we literally had all to ourselves all morning. Then we head down to the island chain town of Newtown. A historic fishing town with perfectly preserved building. Then end our day on the island of Greensport. Insane weather brought waves of squalls and storms before ending in rainbows and perfect a sunset. Our next day takes us through Terra Nova National Park where we find Mountain View’s, a extremely useful visitor center, showers and a aquatic touch tank. We hit a fire tower before leaving the park. Our path then leads around the north rim of the Bonaviata peninsula for a quick lunch in town. We check out the Cape Bonivista Lighthouse and the Puffin Colony. Before heading to the Community Pasture full of wild roaming horses and endless coastal camp spots. After setting up camp we witness two whales playing in the bay for hours in front of us preforming Lobtail. Slapping fonts and tails at each other. What a perfect end to this part of our trip.
