The Plethora x3 is set up with two instances of the Brainwaves Pitch Shifter (one an octave up and one an octave down), and a Flashback 2 instance. Mash features are a powerful way to control your Toneprint pedals. You can set the Mash to control up to three parameters - including mix. When set up a certain way, you can have Whammy pitch throws and oscillating delay available instantly. Because mashing the foot switch automatically turns the effect on, you don't have to do so manually. And since the mix control goes to 0% when you let go, you don't have to bypass the algorithm to remove the effect - just mash and let it go.
