Beach Casting for Beginners - The Off the Ground Cast.

The off the ground cast is an excellent cast to use from sandy and shingle beaches. In this video I show how I beach cast using the off the ground cast. There are many different ways and techniques to do this cast but this is the way that works for me, its an ideal cast for when you need to get your bait out a bit further from the shore to feeding fish and when casting into an onshore wind. I usually use a multiplier for most of my beach fishing but this cast can also be done using a fixed spool just remember to use something to protect your finger during the cast. Other How to Videos.
