Hear from the architects who helped design 55 H Street NW, a forward-thinking residential hall for Georgetown University and American Campus Communities. To design for higher education requires adapting to the dynamic needs of college student populations. 55H is located within Washington D.C.’s NoMa Business Improvement District and near D.C.’s historic Union Station, facilitating easy access to a major transit hub. It provides a student residential program with a mix of residential unit types, ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments, along with numerous options for student recreation and socializing, including retail, amenity, and academic space. Sustainability features include a green roof and solar panels. 55 H Street NW design led by Kevin Smith, Will Gridley, and Ross McClellan. To learn more about RAMSA | Robert A.M.
