During the spawn I find it easiest to wade into the water. It's a great time of year to get into bowfishing and take others out! Just know that in Utah it is illegal to throw your fish on the banks. After you shoot Carp with a bow or catch them with a rod, bang it on the head, sink them by running a knife through the stomach to pop the air sac, and throw it back in the water.
