► Playlist:    • Tales of Arise (PC)   Skipped Zacarania (it's a joke of a fight) and Kisara (you only have to take her down to 50% HP) so both her and Dohalim can fight more fitting enemies. With that said, Kisara is kinda awkward to play as. Her first unique trait is that, instead of dodging, she blocks attacks using her shield. The window to Perfect Guarding is very generous but there's this tiny bit of start-up that make it more unreliable than it should. And while she lacks a directional dodge like the rest of the party, she can mimic it by using Flaming Meteor. Her second gimmick strengthen some of her Artes if they're used while guarding. There's a certain rhythm to it so the extra input is not an issue, however, due to how buffering is in Arise, there's a chance the input for the Arte is not registered if it's done at the same time as the input for guarding. Just something to keep in mind. Kisara has two different damage buffs that are activated once she Perfect Guards an incoming attack: the first and more common is Guard Ignition, which is a golden aura surrounding her; the second one is Guard Reversal, which makes her shield glow white. Both of these buffs can stack and greatly improve her damage output, however Reversal is over the moment a combo chain breaks while Ignition is active for longer. There's also Guard Vengeance but that requires taking damage, so I'm not taking it into account. On a final note I had to upgrade to the Matriach Martel, Kisara's best shield, to compensate for her lowish Arte usage (her normal and strong Artes have different counts) and having no food effect active. This is basically worst case scenario for poor Kisara. As for Dohalim, he starts the fight with B Naturae and once his Mystic Arte is over, he then continues with a small combo consisting of Catapult - Seismic Rupture - Tempest (after doing it once it changes to Catapult - Elusive Deity - Tornado Drive and then it cycles back to the first variant). Dohalim always stops for a brief period of time every time an attack sequence is over. Once you hit the 75% HP mark, Dohalim will do a charge attack, pause and do whatever combo variant he's supposed to do. The charge attack should be used once again but Kisara's able to stop Dohalim the second time he uses it thanks to a QTE. Dohalim teleports to the starting position to use B Naturae at the start of phase 2 and then goes for the second charge attack if he hasn't do it during phase 1, which is ideal to maximize damage. By taking advantage of all his down time, Dohalim should now be close to the 25% HP mark and Kisara's attacks can make him flinch after stopping the charge attack... which for once is a bad thing! Dohalim is extremely aggresive at critical HP, chaining his Artes as soon as he's able to and adding one extra move to each combo variant, and he starts a new combo after recoiling. Be patient and bring him down to 10.000 HP so he just spams B Naturae and victory is yours. As a general note it's important to keep a certain distance to Dohalim so he uses Catapult as an opening move. Being too close results in Crescent Flash and being too far away results in a spell.
