Tune-O-Gear Ejection FIX & LUBE for Apple 800K & 1.44MB floppy drives

Tune-O-Gear, by Kero's Mac Mods, let's you repair Apple/Sony floppy drives with OMRON motor that won't Eject. I show removal, drive teardown & lube. Have a SANWA motor drive? CayMac Vintage has you covered. I also show CayMac's Universal ROM SIMM and show you where you can find the famous Atkinson T-shirt. 🔎 INDEX 0:00 — Intro 1:09 — Color Classic Disassembly 11:16 — Gearbox Repair 32:12 — Drive Cleaning & Lubrication 49:00 — Final Reassembly & Testing 52:38 — Closing Thoughts 54:45 — Universal ROM SIMM (CayMac Vintage) 57:34 — Atkinson T-Shirt (8-Bit Tees) 🛒 BUY • Tune-O-Gear from Kay Koba in Japan: https://bit.ly/416ye94 • Tune-O-Gear from MacEffects in the USA: https://bit.ly/3NfexpX • Gear for SANWA motors from CayMac Vintage: https://ko-fi.com/s/b8dd5b4d8d • Atkinson T-Shirt from 8-Bit Tees: https://bit.ly/3RshWnM • Capacitors (Mouser Cart): https://bit.ly/3fZzuBR • Universal ROM SIMM from CayMac Vintage: https://ko-fi.com/s/2bee7a6f82 ⚠️ Check your 1.44MB drive's capacitance values to confirm your drive matches my Mouser Cart. Only use Single-Sided (400K) or Double-Sided (800K), Double-Density disks in 400K or 800K drives. You can use 400K & 800K floppies in Apple's 1.44MB "SuperDrives" because those drives automatically use a weaker magnetic field when writing to the lower density disks. All said, don't use 1.44MB disks in 800K and 400K drives, even if they seem to work fine. 🙏 THANK YOU, Paypal supporters! • Frank Conforti 🇺🇸 (monumental supporter) • Philippe Astier 🇫🇷 (monthly supporter) • Mauro Acciaccaferri 🇮🇹 (monthly supporter) • Gavin Maxwell 🇦🇺 (monthly supporter) 💰SUPPORT ME https://www.paypal.me/supportJDW 📺 SUBSCRIBE http://www.youtube.com/c/JDW11/?sub_c... 🎬 MY VIDEOS    / jdw26   #AppleHD20 #Recapping #HakkoFR301 #JDW1
