This week we recap our favorite camping and overlanding destinations of 2021! This list is in no particular order other than drive time from Las Vegas - starting with the shortest drive to the longest. || Death Valley National Park || Drive Time: 2 Hours from Las Vegas Best Time to go: October - May Camp Locations (Check iOverlander - On the way to Inyo Mine - Around Desert Campsite Points of Interest: Death Valley is FILLED with stuff to see but a few of our favorite places to go that are easily accessible: - Zabriskie Point (go at sunset) - Badwater Basin - Devil’s Golf Course - Mosaic Canyon (Hike) - Titus Canyon Trail (Overlanding) - Easy/Medium trail with some steep ascends requiring good tires and possibly 4x4 Road Conditions: Easy throughout the park (mostly paved and well maintained dirt) Potentially Medium difficulty depending on where you are camping within Death valley (ex. On the way to Inyo Mine there are a few rocks to go over that require some clearance as you go down the road but there are easy access camp spots for Vans/RVs at the beginning of the road). Make sure to download your maps ahead of time because there is ZERO signal here. Entry fee: FREE Gold Butte Video:    • Truck Camping Gold Butte National Mon...   || Cedar Breaks National Monument || Drive Time: 3 Hours Camp Locations: - Sage Valley Snowmobile Trail (Check iOverlander for more sites!) Points of Interest: - Cedar Breaks National Monument Natural Amphitheater - Navajo Lake Road Conditions - Easy paved road throughout the monument. Camping is outside of the monument Entry Fee: $7 per adult (pass is good for 7 days) Cedar Breaks National Monument:    • Truck Camping a Hidden Gem near Las V...   || Grand Canyon South Rim || Drive Time: 4 Hours Camp Locations - Coconino Rim Road into Kaibab National Forest - Lots of Campground camping within the park and reservations are available Points of Interest: - Grand Canyon (Mather Point) - Desert View Watchtower Road Conditions: Easy paved roads throughout the park. Well maintained dirt roads when you get into Coconino Rim Road (larger RVs parked closer to the entrance) and most Forrest service roads Entry Fees: $30 to enter the park but FREE if you have the America the Beautiful Pass Grand Canyon South Rim:    • Truck Camping Grand Canyon South Rim ...   || Grand Staircase-Escalante || Drive Time: 5 hours Camp Locations: Lot of options in the area - BLM200 and check iOverlander for more options!
