"SULEMAN AMANAT" Was born on 17th May 1978 in Lahore. He started learning music at the age of 12 years, and first , he started music journey with learning singing and Harmonium from Ustad Farukh Hussain Shah. After He became disciple of Ustad Alexander W. Neelam to continue his journey by taking Proper Tabla Lessons, and more knowledge about Raags too. Then, in 2000 Ustad Tari Khan, world renowned, Legendary Tabla maestro accepted him as his disciple. Suleman Amanat kept struggling to get better Tabla education. Simultaneously, he tried to continue his academic studies. He was admitted in the Government College University,Lahore on the basis of music in 1997, He did intermediate, then got a bachelor's degree from the same university. He did Masters in English literature from the University of Punjab in 2003. He is the recipient of Mazari Medal (Gold Medal) from the All Pakistan Music Conference in 1997. He had been teaching music at the University of Punjab for 10 years. Now, he is working as Principal at IGM Christian Music College, Lahore. He has been performing all over Pakistan and abroad as an accompanist with the famous musicians and singers of the county as well as solo performer.
