Sun, Sand, and Knots: DIY Macrame Beach Bag Tutorial! Step-by-step Macrame Tutorial

Sun, Sand, and Knots: DIY Macrame Beach Bag Tutorial! Step-by-step Macrame Tutorial 2x 14cm/ 5.5 inches Bamboo Handles 5mm braided cord (I'm using braided cord with a cotton filling (core)) CORD LENGTHS 42x 300cm / 118.11 inches 54x 100cm / 39.37 inches Dive into the world of beachy vibes with my latest tutorial! Macrame beach bag that's perfect for those sunny days by the shore, but not only :) You can add extra lining to your bag (I'm really bad at sewing, so I skipped this part :P) for additional protection. I'm using braided cord with a cotton filling (core), which is stretchy and soft. Thanks to this, it's nice and flexible, so I can easily pack it into my suitcase for my beach holidays (not much sun in the UK, unfortunately :P). However, you can make it from stiffer cords (I woudl cut the cords a bit longer) as well, which will give it extra shape and hold. You can also use the same technique to make a bag from 3mm cords. Using more but thinner cords will give your bag even more amazing look. Don't forget to subscribe to my channel to stay updated on future macrame projects, tutorials, and inspiration. You might have noticed that even when following a pattern or tutorial, the cord provided doesn't always match up perfectly. But don't worry, it's not you; it's just the nature of the craft! Here's why: Tension and Spacing: Macrame is all about precision, and the tension and spacing of your knots can affect how much cord you use. Slight variations in your technique can make a difference in the length you need. Different Cord Manufacturers: There are various macrame cord manufacturers, and each may have slight differences in the cord's thickness or stretchiness. These variations can impact how much cord you use. To make sure you have enough cord for your project, especially when attempting a new pattern or tutorial, I always advise cutting a bit extra. It's better to have a little extra cord than to run out in the middle of your project. So, don't be surprised if your actual cord lengths differ slightly from what's provided in a tutorial or pattern. It's all part of the creative journey!
