Lake Serene is a strenuous 7.2 mile hike up to a beautiful blue lake surrounded by mountain peaks. There is another trail leading to Bridal Veil Falls which adds 1 mile round trip. So we hiked 8.2 miles to show you both. Next we ate some food and took Aunt Sheila for a check up. Jay's friend was very gracious to let me use the lift and get up under the bus and check everything out. Played some Fetch with his pup and then looked at Giant Elk antlers he has found on his hikes. Finally we stopped at another waterfall and looked around. The water was moving dangerously fast but this was with the river way down. Its a salmon catching area during season.
